The time has flown by and it is almost Easter. How is that possible?! I am not going to lie, I was a bit excited to put together Fletcher's first Easter basket. He is only 7 months but anything I can personalize and have an excuse to carefully put together a themed present makes me entirely way too happy! I had my eye on a couple of these items from some of my favorite small shops and the rest fell into place. Curious to know where all of these sweet items are from? Read further!
Easter Basket: Pottery Barn 'Natural Sabrina Easter Basket'
Basket Liner: Pottery Barn 'Peter Rabbit Easter Basket Liner'
I was on the lookout for something timeless that I could continue to use year after year. I also wanted a liner I could have personalized and this one matched my vision perfect!
Wooden Eggs: Target craft section
I originally wanted wooden egg shakers but was a bit nervous of him putting them in his mouth and choking. I came across these and they are about twice the size of a regular egg. Perfect for babies who put everything in their mouth. They had twine to hang them so I carefully cut it off, removed it, and sealed them with coconut oil. Perfect for teething and play!
Organic Cotton Bunny: John N Tree Organic
I was on the search for a stuff rabbit for his basket and when I found this one on amazon I knew it was perfect. I'm not a huge fan of stuffed animals but ones that are made well and with good materials are an exception for me. I love that this one is on the smaller size and made with organic cotton. If you are in need of a cute bunny for your child's basket, you're in luck because this one is offered with prime 2-day shipping!
Organic Cotton Bib: Mini and Meep
One of My favorite small shops is Mini and Meep. Not only do they have good quality pieces but They donate a 10% of all proceeds to UNICEF's Children's Rights & Emergency Relief Organization and supply children with lifesaving materials like clean drinking water, essential vitamins + nutrients, and counseling.
When I saw this chick bib I knew I had to put it in his basket. Their bibs are our favorite and we love the pullover design!
Bunny Wood Teether: Little Sapling Toys
Wooden toys and teethers are a favorite of mine. When I saw that Little Sapling Toys came out with a bunny teether I thought it would be perfect for his basket! I love buying wooden toys because I know they will last and are free of toxic chemicals. Use code trendyandtired for 10% your purchase!
Board Books: Tjmaxx
The last thing I knew I wanted to add were some classic board books to his basket. I checked out Tjmaxx's selection of books and was pleasantly surprised! I found both of these for about $10 total! I love that he can eventually play and read them without me worrying about him ripping the pages. Highly suggest looking there and Amazon for books!
Thats all for this weeks post! Thanks so much for reading what I put in my son's Easter basket! What are your favorites to add to your child's basket? Would love to hear them! See you back here next Friday, have a great weekend!
